New faces, New places
There have been many changes at North Coast Dogs over the last six months. We have added new class instructors, some new classes and even a new location.
New Faces
The new faces include Heather Holt, Robi Kublin and Mary Edwards. Heather's background includes a wide variety of dog related fields. She has done grooming, training, and has competed in agility, rally obedience, competition obedience as well as conformation. Heather is a graduate of Animal Behavior College and spent some time with North Coast Dogs completeing her internship.
Robi started as a North Coast Dogs student who already had an extensive knowledge of training before taking classes. Her enjoyment of the classes with us parlayed to an internship/class assistant. Robi has worked hard to advance her learning by reading countless books, attending seminars with well known training professionals and working with her personal dog, Shadow.
Mary comes to North Coast Dogs also with an extensive background of working with animals. She started out at Sea World in a variety of capacities as well as owning and working with her own dogs. Her current two include Katie and Ellie. She has experimented with herding with Katie and Ellie, just a youngster, is on her way to competing in many canine sports. It is a pleasure to have these three with us and they have already been invaluable assets to the North Coast Dogs team.

We're Moving
After three solid years at our current location in Lakewood, North Coast
Dogs will be moving. The folks at Walgreen's have decided that the corner
of Warren and Madison in Lakewood would be a great spot for a new drug store.
As a result,
we are having to move our home office and Lakewood training center. The
great news is we have secured a location right next store to Inn
The Doghouse. Inn The Doghouse is a multi service facility that is currently
offering dog daycare, boarding capabilities for dogs and cats and full service
grooming. With the addition of North Coast Dogs, we will be able to offer
training classes and a retail store in addition. Both North Coast Dogs and
Inn The Doghouse are plenty excited about the opportunity to work together
to create an all in one "Pet Mall" if you will.
The new address will be 10237 Berea Rd Unit J.
Details about a coming together party will be announced in the near future.
